March 14, 2010, Bemo Rail started exrending the crane track in Port Said (Egypt).
In 2003 Bemo Rail also realized the first stage. Then 2 x 1200 metres of crane-rail profile MRS125 steel 90, assembled in a concrete chute, were involved.
In stage 2, also 2 x 1200 metres of MRS125 in chute are involved, assembled on a continuous sole plate. Here puddle arc welding is applied. We are going to carry out this project in different stages and expect to complete it before May 2011. The assembly takes place with the assistance of local skilled workers supervised by a Bemo Rail specialist.
To start with, 2 x 200 metres of crane track have to be supplied.
